Candle Care
How to safely use your candles
- Take off the paper tag and cut the wick to 1/4 inch
- Soy wax has a memory of its first burn. Allow the wax to burn from edge to edge, otherwise the next time you burn it, it will begin to tunnel down into the wax instead of melting edge to edge
- Never leave your burning candle unattended. Please be sure to blow out your candle when you leave a room or before you go to sleep
- Place your candle on a heat safe dish to catch the wax while it melts and make sure it's on a flat surface
- Do not place your burning candle near curtains, paperwork, books, clothing or anything flammable. Be sure to keep lit candles away from drafts, ceiling fans and any air currents
- Keep your candle out of reach of children and pets
- Always trim your wick to 1/4 inch before you light your candle. This helps prevent the flame from getting too large and keeps your candle burning at its best
- Keep your candle away from direct sunlight. Due to the natural oils in soy, sunlight can make the candle sweat
